COVID Update : Please note that CES Toronto Exams has suspended all testing in the Toronto region until January 2021. All affected candidates will be contacted shortly.

Our office is closed to all walk-ins. Email or phone support is preferable at info@ieltstoronto.com or by phone at 416-209-6685, Monday-Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm.

CES Exams Toronto is offering a safe, physically-distanced test environment. Some of the measures that will be taken to prioritize your safety include:

1. Deep cleaning of computers, desks and other testing equipment, which are all disinfected before each test
2. 6 ft. spacing between candidates at all times: at check-in, waiting area and in the test room
3. Each computer-delivered testing station has a partition, which ensures a barrier between test takers
4. Mandatory face masks for all staff and candidates
5. Staff do not come to work if they are feeling unwell. We check with all candidates before the test and offer free test date transfers to any candidate who feels unwell
6. Voluntary temperature checks on entry. Candidates with a fever or cough will be transferred.
7. All candidates must sign a declaration that they have not travelled outside Canada within 14 days and do not display COVID-19 symptoms
8. Each candidate receives their own pencil. Pencils sterilized before reuse
9. Hand sanitizer available at check in and in each testing room
10. Sanitized area provided for personal belongings during the test

If you have a test booked and you cannot write the test because you are unwell or the session has to be cancelled, you will be given the opportunity to rebook a future test date or receive a refund. If you have any questions, please contact CES Exams at info@ieltstoronto.com.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to wear a face mask? Yes, all candidates must wear a face mask for the duration of the test. This is because face masks protect others in indoor spaces, so you will be safest if all the other candidates are wearing masks. Although CES Exams was one of the first IELTS Centres to require face masks, all companies and test centres must now require customers to wear wear masks indoors due to a City of Toronto bylaw as of July 7, 2020.

Will my speaking examiner be wearing a face mask? Speaking examiners at CES Exams Toronto will be wearing clear plastic face shields so that you can see their mouth and hear their questions clearly. There will also be a plexiglass screen between you and the examiner for extra protection. This has been tested to make sure you and the examiner can hear each other well.
